Multi-course discount cards give you a discount off of the course’s published “rack rate” at their participating courses. Most are somewhere around 50% off during the week and 25% on the weekend during peak season, so your investment will usually pay for itself pretty quickly. Summer golf rates are often pretty close to the same for cardholders and non-cardholders. All of them will also send you emails with weekly specials and accumulate bonus points towards free rounds or equipment.
However, the discount cards do not GUARANTEE that you’ll get the best available deal. You can often find similar rates (or better) by checking the course’s website, or by checking our discount tee times booking engine, but having the card will save you the time and trouble of looking it up:-)
