Known for its friendly staff and park-like setting, the beautiful McCormick Ranch Golf Club offers any caliber of player two spectacular par 72 resort golf courses (Palm Course and Pine Course), which are open to the public 365 days a year.
Located in the heart of Scottsdale, these well-manicured, traditional layouts are located amidst gorgeous scenery: lush green fairways and greens, mature trees and vegetation, abundant lakes and water features, and the famed Camelback Mountain in the background.
Both the Palm and Pine championship tees are over 7,000 yards long, and both courses also offer challenging yet enjoyable mens, seniors, and ladies tees. The Palm Course features ten water holes and, as its name suggests, showcases many large palm trees. The Pine Course has many mature pine trees and is a bit more narrow. Both courses were designed by renowned golf course architect Desmond Muirhead and opened in 1972. The very popular Palm and Pine were later renovated with outstanding new greens, sand traps and bridges. The ninth hole of the Palm Course was chosen by Golf Illustrated as “One of the USA’s top 18 water holes.”
The McCormick Ranch Golf Club also hosts many outings and tournaments, including the Arizona Amateur Stroke Play Championship, the Golf for Women National Club Championship, the Arizona Open Professional Golf Tournament, and the National Junior College Golf Championship.
