Troon North Golf Club is the birthplace and flagship property of Troon Golf, which is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. To enhance the golf experience, Troon North limits the number of players on both courses and allows more time and space between groups, providing a more relaxed setting with added privacy. In the autumn of 2007, Troon North Golf Club completed a multi-step, two-year renovation project led by Tom Weiskopf, the original designer of The Pinnacle and the co-designer of The Monument. Under Weiskopf’s direction, the 36-hole facility was reconfigured by blending the two courses together and changing the sequence in which the holes are played. Players now experience two new layouts with improved playability.
Golf Magazine raters have spoken by naming the “New” Pinnacle course #1 in Arizona and #21 in the nation. The “New” Monument course has been named #4 in Arizona and #44 in the nation. If you’re playing for the first time or returning to play the new layouts, you are sure to experience the best in Arizona golf!
